Artist Statement:

Being drawn to nature is simply us connecting to our habitat. We are all a part of it, and the disconnect we experience is far from natural.

As a nature enthusiast and birdwatcher, my purpose in creating art is to restore awareness of our natural world and show how our actions directly impact the environment and the well-being of our ecosystems. Purchasing artwork from me is a way for you to connect to nature through the lens of someone who finds inspiration and wisdom in every living thing. I choose oil paint as my primary medium, as the natural, vivid pigments bring me closer to my subject matters. It allows me to depict the color, texture and mood of things I observe when taking a walk or while birdwatching.
