Join us for a fun painting night, instructed step-by-step by Maria Ananieva. We will paint the most beloved backyard birds - the male & female cardinal. Come with your friends and family members and let’s have some fun! No experience necessary. Supplies and a couple of drinks are provided. Adults only.

Sunday, June 23rd, 1 pm to 5 pm

Learn how to approach bird painting, combining acrylic and oil and how to use those safely. Learn about do's and don'ts, tips & tricks to painting birds, a bit of anatomy and lots of fun! Images will be provided. Please review the supply list and bring your own supplies OR purchase a $20 supply kit. Email mariaananieva.art@gmail.com to inquire about a painting kit. Adults only.

June 6th - June 27th, 5:30 pm to 8 pm

Learn the joy of using oils without the intimidation - we will explore techniques suitable for both acrylic and oil and how to combine those medium together safely. Bring your own reference photos and let’s have some fun! Self paced with the guidance you need.

Bring your own supplies. The supply list will be sent closer to the class. Adults only.

A series of 4 Oil and Acrylic Classes

4 Wednesdays, July 10th through July 31st, 5:30 pm to 8 pm

Bring oils and/or acrylics and dive into the bird world with me! Bring your own photos and we will experiment with techniques, colors. Dip your toes into bird anatomy, tricks and tips on how to paint/ draw those little dinosaurs. Beginner friendly class for any bird lover, taught by local bird artist Maria Ananieva! This class is guided and at your own pace. After initial instruction, the teacher walks around giving insight and advice to each individual, based on what they want to achieve.

This is a beginner friendly & intermediate class with advanced students welcome. A supply list will be provided closer to the time of class. Adults only.
