Original oil painting of the magnificent great blue heron. I have a soft spot for this bird and wanted to portray the beauty in the plumage, the stance and created the setting around my favorite time of the day - dusk. I have had multiple herons visit me during that time.
Disclosure: This painting has a couple of repaired tears in the canvas, which resulted in a drawing on the back of it, so it turned out to be a double piece of art!
